Goalkeeper Training

Phil Tuttle

Our head trainer for our goalkeeper training program is Phil Tuttle. Phil is currently our Elite Player Performance Director as well as the Men's Goalkeeper Coach at Southern New Hampshire University and the Girls' Varsity Soccer Coach at Concord High School.

He had the privilege of playing soccer as a goalkeeper at the University of Notre Dame. After Notre Dame, he was drafted by the San Jose Earthquakes (MLS) in the 2011 MLS Draft. Phil enjoyed three years playing professionally at the MLS and USL levels here in America.

After his professional career, Phil continues coaching collegiately at Southern New Hampshire University as a goalkeeper coach. During his time, the Penmen went on to win the 2013 NCAA DII National Championship as well as multiple NE-10 Regular Season and Post Season Championships.

Program Overview

We are proud to be able to offer different options for our Elite Keeper Academy. You might be just starting out or have years of experience, but whatever area you're looking to improve as a goalkeeper there is a program for you. We work with each keeper on goal kicks, angles, footwork, catching/handling, diving, crosses, mental preparation and on-field leadership. Each session is tailored to help each goalkeeper develop into a well rounded and confident player.

Our High School Preseason Goalkeeper Academy Camp will take place on August 9th-13th. We will train for 5-7pm at the Trinity High School turf field located at Derryfield Park in Manchester, NH. This camp is for high school and middle school boys and girls ages who are preparing for their upcoming high school season.
